SEIZING DIVERSITY - Making differences work

Nowhere do so many different needs, requirements, talents and idiosyncrasies collide as in a work environment. From classic office to co-working space to home office to workation – the workplace is being redefined as we trying to figure it out. And with it, the spaces in which work takes place. They have to be conceptionalized more conssiously to be flexible and individual. Sustainability is also gaining more and more attention. The ecological awareness of a company is just as well reflected in the conception of the space and affects the foodprint as the users.

In order to act in a future-oriented way, diverse needs must not only be balanced. Innovative companies see the potential of using these differences and putting them to work, being more efficient and resilient.

My job is to translate this innovative mindset more and more companies develop, into their workspace.

My Projects

For me any space is a service provider, having to fulfil its purpose in the context of respective challenges, resources and goals. It serves the user and thus pays for itself as an investment through the opportunities and possibilities it provides.

My work is based on six pillars:

Iterative

Things change. No investment pays off if you have to stick to it for the sake of the investment. "Simply creating something new" is not the solution either. The solution lies in sustainable and creatively implemented flexibility and ongoing development and improvement.

Connected

Nichts ist eine Insel. Digitalisierung, Soft Skills, Kultur - all das findet im Raum statt und sollte mit ihm konzeptionell gedacht und umgesetzt werden.

Bedürfnisorientiert

Um effizient arbeiten zu können, braucht der Mensch ein Umfeld, das ihm in seiner Individualität assistiert und im Kontext des Ziels seine Stärken befördert und seine Schwächen auffängt.

Pragmatic

You can think of a lot of things, but they can only be done when we know what we need and what is possible. A realistic assessment on costs and benefits provides the framework for creative ideas and real action.

Transformativ

Nie hat etwas nur eine Aufgabe. Aus einer Pinnwand wird ein Raumtrenner. Aus einem Raumtrenner wird eine Sitzbank. Aus der Sitzbank wird wieder eine Pinnwand. Weniger Möbel sind im Einsatz und sparen so Platz und Ressourcen.

Suffizient

Begrenzte Verfügbarkeit ist Bestandteil von Design Nur wenn man sich klar macht, was erreicht werden soll - dauerhaft und tiefgreifend - hat man die Grundlage um mit schonenden Einsatz von Ressourcen dauerhafte und sinnvolle Lösungen zu schaffen.

Über Mich

Etwas bodenständiges wollte ich lernen und machte eine Tischlerlehre. Nur so richtig, hat mir das nicht gereicht.
Wie verbindet man aber die Passion für das Bauen, das Objekt mit Beratung,
